What I’ve learned about FT RV Life So Far

To good not to share.
Copied from another group. This is good. 😁
1. There are a lot of internet options. None of them work like we want them to.
2. Propane always runs out while you are sleeping.
3. Everytime you seal and close off one draft two more appear.
4. All RVs leak somewhere. This becomes part of your weekly chores.
5. Cats can make your rv shake more than people do.
6. Condensation is constant. My cat licks most of it off the windows though.
7. Awnings are wonderful but the slightest amount of wind will stress you out.
8. Vinyl plank floors are great but cold in the wintertime. Buy slippers.
9. Don’t paint or wallpaper over the seams on your wall. Trust me on this one.
10. Not everyone knows the unwritten rules. If you don’t want to deal with this rent a private pad somewhere away from campers and other FTers.
11. Dogs are part of the life but if your cat steps, farts or pees outside it will considered a stray and dealt with accordingly.
12. Flys are normal, spiders are cause to burn your RV down and file an insurance claim.
13. Even if you don’t leave the RV all day you will still need to sweep and dust. Daily.
14. You have two choices in the wintertime. A) enjoy the views but be cold. 😎 live without ever seeing the outside world and be warm.
15. Black tank sensors lie. They grab tp and always read full. Figure out a regular schedule to dump it or deal with its wrath.
16. Every odd new smell is something breaking in your mind. Create a mental checklist early as you will use this often.
17. Stabilizer blocks also sink in soil. Have extras.
18. Heated Drinking Water Hoses. Must have.
19. Air conditioners always fail in July or August.
20. This life is amazing. Wouldn’t change it for the world.
